Jagreet attended and participated in 2022’s Black Women in Business Expo networking event.

Although Jagreet is not a member of the Black community, she supported the varying and incredible crafts and businesses of many Black women in the Lower Mainland while also engaging in important conversation around building meaningful inroads between South Asian and Black women and businesses.

She was documented on Global BC’s coverage of the event, which can be viewed below. Pictured with her is her dear friend, colleague and client, Aleah Meehan REALTOR®.

“Himmat is a powerful machine that stewards responsible storytelling. Not only are the stories deconstructed in a way that speaks to the heart, but also set a precedent for a new form of narration that brings the entire self to the forefront.”
