Personal Platitudes is a podcast mini-series hosted by Himmat Media’s interim Cultural Catalyst: DevonyJasmine (aka DJ).
Personal Platitudes was developed as part of Devony Jasmine's practicum project for her Radio Arts & Broadcasting Certification at BCIT, where she enlisted the support of Himmat Media to complete her studies. The project has been produced and artistically directed under the mentorship of Jagreet Dhadli, Founder and Director of Himmat Media, as part of Himmat Media’s new incubator program.
The show is dedicated to empowering people and helping to foster personal growth within. We explore a wide range of topics as guests offer their insights on overcoming obstacles and embracing culture.

DevonyJasmine's especially enjoys talking on the radio and honed her radio personality skills during her time at BCIT. She has the privilege of telling so many interesting stories and sweeps from between songs on Evolution 107.9.

DevonyJasmine has loved editing videos since she was a kid. With a little movie magic, anything is possible. Video editing allows her to create her own world, voice her narrative, and tell her story.
